A few years ago, I had a story idea born of a single scene: a girl sitting against a brick wall in the pouring-down rain, utterly hopeless and helpless. And then, a small black cat appears…

Since then, the story familiarly known as ‘NightPanther’ has developed in a lot of ways. The characters have changed names, and the book has changed titles, but the essence of the story has remained the same. Now, what I hope is the final draft is about halfway finished.

As of now, the title of the first book is Fading Moon, and I’ve just finished chapter sixteen.

In conjunction with my most determined efforts to finish this novel, I have created this website to collect, explore, and explain the source materials and root ideas behind this series. I hope it’s as interesting and informative for you as it is for me.
